#STPPSFootball Week 2
(09-12-2019)

Lakeshore and Pearl River are the lone unbeaten STPPS teams remaining after Week 2 of the 2019 high school football season.

Lakeshore (2-0) has now 24 straight regular-season games with a 56-16 non-district win over South Plaquemines (0-2) at Titan Coliseum. Across the parish, Pearl River (2-0) rolled to a 45-20 win over Thomas Jefferson (0-2).

Fontainebleau (0-2) lost a heartbreaking 41-35 road game at Franklinton (1-1). The Bulldogs tied the game at 35-35 with 3:24 left in the game before the Demons scored the game-winning score on the final drive.

In Slidell, Salmen (1-1) knocked off crosstown rival Northshore (0-2) 34-14 while Rummel (2-0) shut out Slidell (1-1) 37-0.

Holy Cross (1-1) defeated Covington (1-1) 24-14 at Jack Salter Stadium, and Hahnville (2-0) beat Mandeville (1-1) 34-13 on the Skippers' home field.
