During the month of February, STPPS will recognize the contributions of African-Americans during its Black History Month celebration. We'll share stories from students, teachers, alumni, and community members about African-American leaders and trailblazers who've made a profound impact on their lives.
Our Black History Month social media campaigns in 2017 and 2018 spotlighted influential African-Americans who changed public education in St. Tammany Parish for the better. Both campaigns won national awards from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA). Read our Black History Month profiles from 2017 and 2018.
