With the 2018 St. Tammany Parish Fair ongoing, Week 6 of the 2018 #STPPSFootball season featured not one but two nights of high school football.
Seven STPPS teams took the field Thursday night.
Lakeshore (6-0) ran its regular-season win streak to 16 games thanks to a 47-0 rout of Kennedy at Titan Coliseum. On the other side of Mandeville, the Skippers (2-3) won their second straight with a 17-7 district win over Northshore.
In a cross-town clash, St. Paul's jumped ahead of Covington (2-4) early for a 32-7 win.
Three games outside of St. Tammany Parish ended the night. Tied 29-29 late in the fourth quarter, Franklinton scored twice to hand Salmen (1-5) the loss. Fontainebleau (4-2) won its third straight game with a 21-16 win at Hammond. Behind Harlan Dixon's five-touchdown performance, Slidell (4-2) also won its third straight, blowing past Ponchatoula 59-22.
Pearl River (5-1) saw its five-game win streak come to an end Friday as the Rebels fell 33-7 at Hahnville in Boutte.
