Pearl River Students Represent STPPS at Freedoms Foundation Leadership Conference
(04-04-2017)

Pearl River High students Sarah Surla, Haley Koch and Daisy Singletary are among nine New Orleans area students who will attend the Freedoms Foundation Leadership Conference April 6-9 in Valley Forge, Pa. The nine students were honored this past Sunday at a gathering in the New Orleans Garden District.

The three PRHS students will be meeting with student leaders from across the United States to discuss ways young people can influence and lead their communities. The Foundation is honoring these scholars by giving them an all-expenses paid trip to Pennsylvania and a day of touring Philadelphia and Valley Forge historic sites.

Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge is the premiere citizenship education institution in the United States, educating all Americans to be responsible, engaged citizens. To learn more about the Freedoms Foundation, visit www.freedomsfoundation.org.
