St. Tammany Parish Public Schools

While students were not in our classrooms and schools for the last nine weeks of the 2019-2020 school year, we made adjustments in our learning plans to meet all the different needs of our students. Our continuous learning plans were aligned to the fourth quarter standards for each individual grade level.

We understand each household has varied accessibility. While students were encouraged to submit work to their teachers, it was not required and was not graded.

Teacher learning platforms served as the primary learning source. The district resources were intended to supplement the continuous learning plan provided by a student’s own teacher. Teachers updated their webpages with weekly parent announcements and student assignments and updated other learning platforms (Moodle or Google Classroom). Teachers were available via email to answer questions and provide descriptive feedback.
