Para Pro Assessment Information

The St. Tammany Parish School Board will be offering the Para Pro Assessment to those persons interested in applying with our school system. To be considered for employment as a Paraprofessional with the St. Tammany Parish School System, applicants must meet the definition of Highly Qualified as outlined by the No Child Left Behind Act. One avenue to attain this qualification is a passing score of 450 (Louisiana) on the Para Pro Assessment.

The cost of the test is $50 for initial testing and $55 for those who may need to re-test. Payment in the form of the required exact amount in cash or personal check along with a picture ID must be presented on scheduled test date. The test will be given from 3:30 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. at the Technology Center located at 2024 Livingston, Mandeville, LA 70448.

There are no current testing dates available. Please check the web site regularly for additional test scheduling.
