

Unit 1 Numbers to 10 Kindergarten / Math 


Description: Kindergarteners begin with solidifying the
meaning of numbers to 10 with a focus on embedded numbers and relationships
to 5 using concrete objects, drawings. Students will investigate patterns of “1
more: and 1 less: using concrete objects and models.

define more or less, and represent a number of objects with a corresponding
numeral from 0 – 10. ·

apply counting to equivalences of sets, and use comparison vocabulary such as
greater than, less than, or equal to compare the number of items in two sets. ·
